Karen’s Story
How it all began
In 1994, Karen did something unusual. She took a leave of absence from her graphic design job at a large corporation and spent a year in Georgia and North Carolina volunteering full-time with Habitat for Humanity.
During that experience, Karen discovered two things:
1) nonprofits need a reliable, affordable
partner for creative communications, and
2) she really prefers working with
community-minded organizations.
So…she invented 501creative.
